OUR SERVICES
Emergency Shelter
Project Rainbow opened The Rainbow House in 2023. It is a low-barrier 24-bed emergency shelter focused on housing while maintaining safety for unhoused members of the LGBTQ+ community. The Rainbow House offers in-house therapeutic services for individuals and groups in addition to seeking housing focused placements for our guests.
Housing Supports
Project Rainbow provides housing-supportive services in the community. We provide ongoing support to newly housed people to help them sustain their housing and find success. Our supportive services case management includes referrals to other resources in the communiy ensuring that those engaged with us obtain wraparound services.
Outreach
In addition to serving as an access point for those experiencing homelessness at The Rainbow House, Project Rainbow also serves as an outreach provider. We work with individuals on street level in an effort to help find housing solutions both inside and outside of our emergency shelter.
Community Engagement
Project Rainbow recognizes the importance of building community. To bring safe spaces for all members of the LGBTQ+ in our area to connect as well as the individuals we serve, we plan both free and paid events to bring folks together.
